Northern White Cedar High Back Table Group

This set comes with four high back chairs made from splendid Northern White Cedar. The chair legs, arms and back support pieces are made from solid cedar logs. The seats and backs are constructed from flat, rectangular slats of cedar and are slightly slanted allowing for extra comfort. These chairs measure 34 inches high x 26 inches wide and weigh 40 pounds. The round table measures 48 x 24 inches and has four cedar log legs that gain extra support from the cross section of more cedar logs maintaining their balance. The top of the table is designed from halved cedar logs presenting a perfectly flat surface. No cushions or accessories are included and some assembly is required. This furniture is constructed from solid cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. As will all log furniture, it is subject to the natural process of checking, which occurs as the wood releases moisture, and normally happens across or through the annual growth rings. All unfinished pieces will weather gently to an attractive gray color. If you prefer the ripe wood color, these pieces can painted, stained or lacquered to prevent the natural color change.
