Northern White Cedar Futon Frame

This sleep system is crafted from Northern White Cedar, measures 83 x 32 x 33 inches high and weighs a durable 115 pounds. The complete framework of this piece has been constructed with solid rounded cedar logs. For extra comfort, the arms on the futon frame are crafted using cedar log posts that have been hewn to a slightly flat surface on top. Vertical cedar posts have been added to the ends of this futon for a decorative accent as well as added support. Futon mattress pictured is not included. Futon mattresses must be ordered separately and come in the following colors Off White, Wine, Forest Green, Smoke, Khaki, Navy, Black and Denim. No accessories are included and some assembly is required. This furniture is constructed from solid cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. As will all log furniture, it is subject to the natural process of checking, which occurs as the wood releases moisture, and normally happens across or through the annual growth rings. All unfinished pieces will weather gently to an attractive gray color. If you prefer the ripe wood color, these pieces can painted, stained or lacquered to prevent the natural color change.
